On 2 April, All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives issued the "Notice on Organizing and Helping the Sales of Unsalable Agricultural Products in Hubei" and mentioned that supply and marketing cooperatives at all levels and CHINA CO-OP GROUP are requested to organize production and marketing docking activities as soon as possible: First, organize Guide the processing of agricultural products in the system, and guide commercial enterprises, supermarket chains, wholesale markets, etc. to actively purchase or help sell agricultural and sideline products in Hubei. The second is to mobilize multiple forces such as agencies, enterprises, institutions, and associations, as well as cadres and employees throughout the system to participate in the agricultural assistance activities. The third is to rely on the "Supply and Marketing e-Home" and "Poverty Alleviation 832" platforms to set up a special activity area for Hubei agricultural and sideline products to effectively link production and sales.
The Secretariat of the China Tea Circulation Association (hereinafter referred to as the "China Tea Association") introduced to the "Securities Daily" reporter on April 19 that the China Tea Association mainly adopts five methods, including live broadcast of goods, collection of official website information, and multiple channels to encourage member companies to purchase, the public welfare poverty alleviation tea project and the poverty alleviation consortium project contribute to the sales of Hubei tea.
As the national first-level tea economic association headed by the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooper, the China Tea Circulation Association also issued on the same day the opinions on the implementation of the ACFSMC "Notice on Organizing and Helping the Sales of Hubei Unsalable Agricultural Products", and confirmed the production marketing docking activities of Hubei's main agricultural products, helping to sell Hubei tea.
"In order to have evidence and effectiveness, the China Tea Association calculates the total demand and sales of Hubei tea once a week. Among them, from April 5 to April 19, the members of the China Tea Association responded to the call of the country and the association. Actually The demand for purchasing and reporting Hubei tea totals 30,800 tons, valued at 565 million yuan." The Secretariat of the China Tea Association predicts that the spring tea season (green tea) is coming to an end this week (April 19, ushering in the Guyu solar term), the demand for raw materials for frontier tea and export tea will greatly increase, and the sales of Hubei tea will be great. promote. According to the statistical data since the beginning of April, it is expected that Hubei tea sales of more than 38,000 tons can be solved from April to May through the association.
Yin Weiping, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Caihua Tea Industry Co., Ltd. in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, Yichang City, one of the beneficiary tea companies, told the "Securities Daily" reporter that the company is a private enterprise that integrates tea production, processing, sales and tea product research and development, tea seedlings breeding. Its leading products are Caihua Maojian and Tianma Jianhao, with an annual production capacity of 6000 tons (including 2500 tons of famous tea) and an output value of nearly 200 million yuan.
Yin Weiping further explained, “With the help of ACFSMC and the China Tea Association, our company mainly sells Caihua Bud Tea (a slow-moving output of 0.5 million jin) and Caihua Maojian (a slow-moving output of 40,000 jin) with the help of ACFSMC and the China Tea Association. ). At present, nearly 190,000 yuan of Caihua Maojian has been sold, and an order of nearly 600,000 yuan is in the process of fulfillment. This year, the company has sold more than 500 tons of tea (various types of tea products) so far in 2019. The sales volume in the same period is still far behind. However, all parties are working together to support Hubei tea enterprises, which gives us full confidence in continued operations."
China Edible Fungi Association in charge of ACFSMC also issued an initiative, calling on member companies to continue to pay attention to the main agricultural products in Hubei and increase their assistance. According to the ACFSMC website, CEFA has arranged 15 leading companies to purchase 140 tons of unsalable dried mushrooms and 25 tons of fresh mushrooms in Hubei. At the same time, CEFA used its own industry big data platform to strengthen the monitoring of edible fungi production in Hubei and prepare plans, coordinate and arrange Hubei Yuguo Mushroom Industry Co., Ltd., Beijing Baisuzhen Food Co., Ltd. and other companies to prepare for for the purchase of listing edible fungi.
Yuan Xudong, general manager of Hubei Minhua Modern Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., located in Jiangling Economic Development Zone, Jingzhou City, revealed to a reporter from the Securities Daily on the phone that since the beginning of this year, Minhua Agriculture has acquired more than 1.2 million jin, worth nearly 700 Ten thousand yuan of mushrooms. But before the end of March, the company was basically in "unemployed" state. It was not until early April that Minhua Agriculture gradually resumed business with the help of various channels such as ACFSMC, China Edible Fungus Association, and e-commerce platforms.
"In the first three months of this year, our company only has sales orders every three to five. Even if there are orders, the quantity is only calculated in single digits. In the past 10 days, the company's daily order volume has more than doubled to hundreds of orders, and are sprinting into thousands.” Yuan Xudong admitted frankly that the company’s current biggest problem is the stagnant inventory. There is still inventory worth tens of millions of dollars in the warehouse for sale. However, market demand continues to improve and multilateral assistance has given us hope. Next, we will work hard and work hard.
In addition to China Tea Association and China Edible Fungus Association, China Cooperative Trade Enterprises Association, China Grocery Products For Daily Use Markting Association, China Farm Produce Brokers Association, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel, etc. industry associations and chambers of commerce are also giving full play to the advantages and functions of the platform to actively help Hubei enterprises to accelerate their "return".
Dr. Zheng Lei, Director of Economic Behaviour and China Policy Research Centre of INERI, concluded that the National Industrial Association and Chamber of Commerce has joined forces to support Hubei, which is very obvious for local enterprises to resume work and production. On the one hand, Industrial Associations and Chambers of Commerce can directly encourage related enterprises across the country to support counterparts in Hubei, and these foreign companies can efficiently “take goods” for Hubei enterprises through their upstream and downstream channels. On the other hand, the Industrial Associations and Chambers of Commerce have credibility, influence and appeal, which are bridge and link between the government and enterprises. Taking advantage of the unique advantages of rooting the industry and being close to the enterprise can quickly lead to mutual cooperation between enterprises.
